Heatable Windows
The heatable UHV quartz window is designed for the usage in MBE or other deposition systems without any other protection. During the growth the temperature of the window can be kept at room temperature in order to make in-situ optical measurements possible. After growth or intermittently during growth the temperature is ramped up to 1000?C in order to reevaporate condensed material. A water cooling system around the heatable window protects the surrounding.
An optionally available control unit with integrated PID-controller and power supply allows the convenient use of the heatable window, manually or computer controlled.
