RHEED software Safire Digital Ultimate with new high resolution camera
2011-06-22 The first Safire Digital Ultimate system featuring the brand new pco.edge camera was delivered to a customer, demonstrating once again Safire's technological leadership among RHEED data acquisition systems. By supporting this camera, Safire promotes RHEED analysis to a new level. With a resolution of 5.5 megapixels, extremely low noise, a frame rate of 100 fps and a dynamic range of 22 000 : 1, Safire Digital Ultimate defines the new gold standard for RHEED image acquisition systems. With more than four orders of magnitude dynamic range, intensity variations similar to x-ray diffraction measurements can be captured with a single exposure. At the same time, the ultrahigh spatial resolution allows you to catch the shape of even very sharp peaks in the pattern with enough data points to allow fitting. And all this is possible with more than enough time resolution to catch fast transient features during growth.
Safire Digital Ultimate is available now. Check out the pdf flyer in the downloads section or contact us directly for more information.
New managing director
2011-03-15 Dr. Wolfgang Braun has joined Createc as of January 1st, 2011 as managing director to support Createc's continuing growth. Wolfgang Braun spent most of his scientific career at the Paul-Drude Institute in Berlin, where he was responsible for the combined MBE/synchrotron x-ray diffraction experiment PHARAO at the storage ring BESSY II. He is the author and coauthor of more than 100 scientific publications and well known for his work on RHEED and the fundamentals of MBE growth.
Wolfgang Braun, Albrecht Fischer and the entire Createc team are looking forward to being your supplier of high quality custom-design equipment for your research and production needs.
TUBO Si source for Si
2011-03-01 A new breakthrough: Createc's revolutionary TUBO source for ultrahigh temperature ultrahigh purity operation is now available in a special version for evaporating Si. Using a proprietary, patented crucible design developed in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research, Stuttgart, Germany, this source can evaporate Si from the liquid at high growth rates similar to e-beam evaporators.
In contrast to e-beam evaporators, however, it offers the stability and reproducibility of a thermocouple controlled effusion source, together with the reliable, ultrahigh purity TUBO design.
TUBO Si is available now. Interested? Please contact us.
