CreaTec Fischer & Co. GmbH - long years of innovation...

CreaTec is a well known manufacturer of highly customized and application-oriented systems and components for UHV and MBE. Many years of experience in construction and design of UHV equipment ensure the realization of complex customer requirements. Adaption of effusion cells, manipulators, transfer systems to existing systems of any supplier is CreaTec’s daily business. The company was founded in 1992 with facilities in Erligheim (located in the south-west of Germany) and is continuously growing up since then.

A lot of innovations which became inherent part of the product range were generated from close cooperations with leading research institutions. Examples are the 50 keV electron gun with fluorescent screen for precise RHEED measurements and the high-performance data acquisition and evaluation software SAFIRE as well as the process control software EMERALT for complete MBE systems.

Production and tests of all products take place in a clean room environment from class 1000 to class 10 located in our facilities in Erligheim.

Since 1998, the low temperature scanning tunneling microscope (LT-STM) became an essential part of the CreaTec product range. Apart from its nanoanalytical capabilities it allows the manipulation of atoms and molecules in the temperature range between 6 and 300 K.
